If you are a Christian considering homeschooling, or would like some encouragement regarding your homeschool, this article should encourage you.  Educating our Kids in What Matters, written by Steve Nelson.

If you are new to home schooling in Mohave County you must file an Affidavit of Intent with the county school superintendent within 30 days after home schooling begins. If your child is enrolled in K-12, Connections Academy, or another on-line public school curriculum the Affidavit should not be filed.  For details and/or an affidavit contact them at (928) 753-0747, or go to Mohave County website. 

Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE) is a statewide organization that serves the needs and  protects the rights of Arizona's homeschooling families.  AFHE is a  non-profit educational corporation directed by a Christian board.  AFHE membership is open to all homeschooling parents in the state of  Arizona. 

Homeschool Facts is a website which provides a vast array of information to assist homeschool families and
to answer the questions of prospective homeschool families.

Homeschool Central is a one-stop resource with links to hundreds of useful sites.

Musicforhomeschool is a very complete and informative affordable course covering the basics of how music works and music history.

To participate in the Pizza Hut Book-it reading program you must register on-line at
http://www.bookitprogram.com/homeschool/default.asp or call (800) 426-6548.
Materials will be distributed directly to each participating family.

Parentalrights.org is an organization whose sole purpose is to amend the U.S. constitution to protect parental rights.
They are fighting against UN rights for a child. 

The website thehomeschoolmom.com has a wealth of information on homeschooling as well as a very extensive section on curriculum reviews. The reviews are written by parents and the site lists various pros and cons from each publisher. Also homeschoolreviews.com is an excellent resource to review different curriculum available.
