>Soldiers for Christ is a non-profit, non-denominational organization committed to reaching out to boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Soldiers for Christ is a learn & earn program. It is based on a point system where all members can earn free Rockets as they learn and grow in their knowledge of Christ. S.F.C meets every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Saturday mornings at 10:00 am, at Christ Alive Apostolic Worship Center located at 2770 North Kiowa Blvd. All children age 7 and up are welcome to attend. > HCHE has joined Grand Canyon University's Alliance Program for Homeschool Achievement, (ALPHA). There are various benefits for the entire family. The dual enrollment program is available to eligible homeschooled 10th-12th grade students. The qualified student may take up to eight classes on-line for only $210.00 per class, plus an $85.00 e-book fee. This is an amazing opportunity to earn college credits at a Christian university. > Every year homeschool parents may request a new Mohave County homeschool ID card for their student(s). Contact the Mohave County Superintendent's office at 928-753-0747.
> Homeschool Buyers Co-op offers free homeschool student ID cards to print at home. They also offer a PVC card option at a fee of $7.95 for the first card and $5.95 for additional cards.
> H.C.H.E. Bookshelf. Educational books (including curriculum) are available to members for free.
> If you are looking for books on home schooling or teaching ideas, some are located in three different areas of the Mohave County Library. There is a section in "Kid's Town" that has books and magazines. (See the children's librarian.) There are also numerous books in the adult section under the numbers 649 and 370-371.
